Bondi Pilates is a vibrant Reformer Pilates studio with locations across the UK and Ireland. I first partnered with them to design and build their main website, which helped establish a sleek, modern online presence that reflects the energy and professionalism of their brand.
More recently, they introduced a line of premium grip socks for their class attendees — a product that quickly became a hit with their community. With growing demand, Bondi Pilates wanted to make the socks available to customers beyond their studio walls. The goal was to launch a dedicated Shopify store, set up as a subdomain of their main site, that felt like a natural extension of the brand their clients already know and love.
The Brief
My role was to design and develop a Shopify store that would showcase the new grip sock range in a way that felt fresh yet completely in tune with the existing Bondi Pilates brand. The store needed to be simple to navigate, look great on any device, and offer an effortless shopping experience from browsing through to checkout.
It was important to highlight what makes these socks special — their comfort, durability, and studio-ready grip — so customers could feel confident in their purchase. The design needed to strike the right balance between a clean, minimalist layout and a visually engaging presentation that reflected the quality of the product.
As the store would live on a subdomain of the main website, brand continuity was key. Every element, from the typography to the colour palette, had to align perfectly so that the transition from the main site to the shop felt seamless.
The Results
The new Shopify store launched successfully at shop.bondipilates.com, giving Bondi Pilates a polished and fully functional online shop dedicated to their grip sock collection.
The store mirrors the style of the main website, creating a consistent brand experience while allowing the products to take centre stage. Customers can easily browse the range, select their preferred styles and sizes, and complete their order through a quick and intuitive checkout.
Product pages feature high-quality imagery and carefully crafted descriptions that bring the socks to life, highlighting their comfort, performance, and attention to detail.
With the new store in place, Bondi Pilates can now reach a wider audience, building on the success of their in-studio sales and strengthening their brand presence both online and offline.
